The Cubs have the best record in the MLB at 15-5. Their cross town rival the White Sox are 15-6.

I've been to a Cubs/White Sox game at Wrigley before and it was electric. It would be awesome to go to one there when they are both good.

In recent years and for obvious reasons the crosstown cup hasn't had much riding on it other than pride but this years series is looking like it is going to be entirely different with both teams having a legit chance at making a real push to and in the playoffs. Purely hypothetical at this point but a Cubs/Sox WS would blow my mind. I actually think it's great that the Sox are doing so well and can't wait until Jul 25th.

This baby knows what's up!

Just to chat about another team other than a Chicago team in this thread. Aledmys Diaz is off to a scorching start for STL. Came into the spring as the 3rd string SS and due to injury was forced to play early this year. All he's done is bat .468 (leads the NL) and also leads the NL in OBP, Slg, and OPS. Now obviously this can't continue all year but its been a nice to boost to a Cards squad that needed some help early this year.

Who are these "Cards" you write about?

Whoever they are, they are lucky to have the player mentioned in your post. Looks like he is starting the year off on fire.

They are very fortunate. Him and Hazelbaker have been a nice addition to the lineup to help fill holes. Need to get the big bats going and most importantly start pitching the way they should be. Not sure what is going on there.

Long ways to go but the Mets currently have the fourth-best record in baseball but sit second in their division.

Could be pretty interesting as the season goes along as there is now a HUGE difference between being a division champion and being in a wild card playoff with your entire season hanging on that one game.
