Tommy is the best QB (after two freakin' practices - are we to be surprised or something that POB is not clearly the best?)? POB is learning? I would hope so - he is a student athlete! Wllbon getting a shot? We were told that he would. So? Ozigbo is more agile than Cross? We saw and therefore knew that last year! Tell us something we don't know maybe? OL is Gates and everyone else? Well we expected Gates would be our best didn't we? Bunch of new guys that didn't get much playing time last year? What would you expect after a few practices after taking several months off? These are supposed to be informed and intelligent reporters who should presumably know something about the topics they are writing about? Quote Link to comment

Maybe you should actually read the article instead of my borderline stupid takeaways. 3 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Ha! I read it...it was a decent read. Lord knows there is not a ton to write about at the moment. Quote Link to comment
Sargon
84HuskerLaw lol. WTF dude read the article. TA...more summary...better than ever as an athlete. Still doesn't choose targets wisely. HC Mike commented recently about the run game and the passing game off the run game. I think Mike has a plan to make things go better for TA this year. More running, less passing overall. Also more rollouts and play action to hopefully get (force) TA to take more of what is open (run or pass) rather than locking on to a deep or middle guy who ends up not being a smart target. suh_fan93
Sounds like Tommy is still being Tommy. Maybe once the season starts he ends up having a better year this year. I'm really hopeful but my gut says it's going to be more or less the same Tommy Armstrong this season that we had last season. A playmaker at times and frustrating at others yet the best we have at QB. If he could just clean up his game man that would make such a huge, huge difference. Glad Wilbon is finally seeing time with the 1's. Really hopeful that Westerkamp and especially DPE can get over their injuries. Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
If TA learns to set his feet properly, then he'll have less INT's even if his decision-making is the same. Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
I wonder if Riley will yank him from a game if he is struggling? Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
This is Tommy's last year of playing organized football. I hope he understands what he can accomplish if he puts his mind to it. Then I hope he ignores that and starts doing what the coaches tell him. Seriously, he's a great athlete who sometimes acts like he's in a comic book. Quote Link to comment

84HuskerLaw
How long til 84HuskerLaw moves on to "greener" pastures? Not sure what you are complaining about but the points remain. The summary points tell us nothing new. It has already been over a week into spring ball and basically NOTHING has been reported or discussed about practice. Quote Link to comment
