Mavric
Kind of sounds that way. CJ Anderson is a RB the Broncos just re-singed. Danny Trevathan was the Broncos leading tackler. 1 Quote Link to comment
swmohusker
Good for him. For as "bad" as our LB coaching was we might have 3 starting LB'S in the NFL. David, comp, and ZA (hopefully) Quote Link to comment

David was outstanding in college, Compton was solid and Zaire had some strong moments. All had the upside to get to the stage they are at. Just needed further development and yes, probably a little better coaching. Man, how many people have talked about how much they've learned under Bray already compared to previous staff? I would guess a lot has to do with the scheme change, but a few players & a father have stated how much they really like Bray. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I always thought his talent was wasted here. Quote Link to comment
macroboy
Cool to hear about ZA. I hope he gets to play. Todd Davis was the young LB that backed up Trevathan last year. I think they are excited about him too. Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
ZA is coming to visit my son's class today. He has a cousin that is in the same grade. My son is decked out in his Oregon gear ... Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Why do you allow your son to cheer for Oregon? Is CoachPowerT his uncle? Quote Link to comment

Stumpy1
He likes them cause they are fun to watch. Can't fault him for that. Zaire came to visit his cousin, who my wife helps with, for his birthday. My son said he might turn into a Broncos fan now because ZA was a really cool guy and joked around with them. My wife said he is a really down to earth guy and both he and his wife were very good with the kids and that you can tell that family is a big thing to ZA. Both said it was a fun experience. huKSer
Didn't Denver release all of their starters and backups? Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
Man, how many people have talked about how much they've learned under Bray already compared to previous staff? There is an old saying: "Talk is cheap, it takes money to buy whiskey." So I guess until these "many people" have the money earned in the NFL to buy that whiskey... Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Earning money in the NFL is great. Finding retribution at the next level is a wonderful thing. As a selfish Nebraska fan I would prefer if more guys hit their stride while they're at Nebraska. Preferably with a year or two of elegibility left. Quote Link to comment
wiuhusker
I have been able to interact with Zaire quite a bit in the last year or so. He's actually dating a relative of my boss. Real down to earth guy and told us some pretty good stories about the trip to San Francisco for the Super Bowl. It would be nice to see him get a chance and take the reins as a starter for the Broncos. Quote Link to comment

He was at the top of his game at Nebraska and still had a year of eligibility left when he went to Dallas. As for Collins and Valentine leaving early, don't know what to tell you about that.
