A man you can bait with a Tweet

Recommended Posts

That last tweet is just a subtle cattle prod to the base, and they're reading it, "Fear the brown people!" ISIS is a convenient bogey man - scary, but distant and not capable of hitting American shores yet. But they hit Europe, and that makes major headlines in America, and keeps the base afraid.

MS13 has been in operation in America for decades, but you're only just now hearing about it being a huge problem. Most of the base has no idea who they are, other than that they're a brown-skinned gang, and they do scary things. They're no different today than they were ten or twenty years ago, they're not goingi to be kicking in your door anytime soon, but they're a good specter to keep you vaguely afraid and listening to Trump/State Media so you constantly hear how they're keeping you safe at night.

ISIS' demise was also set in motion by the Obama administration. They did exactly what the American people have been asking them to do for decades. Assemble a coalition of middle eastern countries together to fight for themselves so the US didn't need to put more boots on the ground. But even the media barely touches on that aspect.

In other words....

"Don't let them kick me out of office because of my idiotic son (who is totally innocent) or MS13 is going to take over the country and kill all of us."

It's almost like Republicans have to be consistently afraid and angry to support the policies of their party.
