knapplc
Part Deux: That bisou - the little kiss to the cheek - isn't supposed to be that intimate. He plants a full-on smack on her cheek, but you're supposed to almost air-kiss each other. Nobody wants your gnarly lips on their cheek. Everything the man does is awkward and creepy. He's absolutely a bully. 4 Link to comment

TGHusker
http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/President-Donald-Trump-Secretary-of-State-Rex-Tillerson-Iran-certification/2017/07/23/id/803289/ So is Trump now dissatisfied wt Tillerson? Maybe so. For a guy who 'knows how to hire the best' he seems to be at odds wt many of his appointees. In this case, it appears Tillerson didn't give Trump info he needed or wanted in time and now he is going to rely on his trusted White House people on Iran. Link to comment
TGHusker
Chalk up another win for Uncle Putin. Puppet on the string. All of these Russian leaning actions should give Mueller some fuel I would think. What is next- Making Moscow the center of the Euro Zone - replacing Brussels? Link to comment

Danny Bateman
Maybe? Syria is a lose-lose situation right now. I'm just tired of Trump deferring to Putin. Link to comment

I just read that Tillerson had told friends he was going to try and make it a year, but based on the last few weeks he is more frustrated and they don't know if he's that comitted. He's frustrated that everything is a moving target, and that the blame game seems to be a constant from the WH. Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Tillerson is used to being in charge of a very large well run organization. Like or dislike Exxon all anyone wants, but I respect his ability to run that organization way more than what trump has done in his life. He really knows how to run an organization where he needs to keep people happy and represent an organization with respect. He's smart enough to see his boss now is a complete lunatic jack ass. He also is not going to take bring made to look like an idiot by someone like trump. Link to comment

Danny Bateman
The new blood for oil?Trump is proving two things: 1. He really does think he knows better than the generals. 2. He really did mean it when we should've plundered the oil from Iraq. 1 Link to comment

The three votes against the bill came from Republicans -- Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan, Rep. Tom Massie of Kentucky and Rep. John Duncan of Tennessee. Link to comment
