The Republican Utopia

Recommended Posts

This is what they sold their soul for.

They're so wrapped up in their own little echo chambers that inevitably, someone forgets and says the quiet things out loud.

So let's examine this:

Conservative Judges:  Those judges are the "activist judges" Republicans used to rail against. But now they're for them, except these aren't those old impartial judges who used to occasionally rule against conservative values, but bona-fide intentionally conservative judges. They're advocating legislation from the bench.  That'll have to get cleaned up.

Pro-Life Policy:  Nearly every single Republican advocates this. They didn't have to become an ultra-right-wing party to accomplish this.

Rebuilt Military:  America's military was not in any way in need of rebuilding, and should have been pared DOWN in 2016. But Trump hasn't done anything new: as of 2019, military spending increased for the fifth straight year. That includes Obama's last two years in office.

Tax Reform: The Trump Tax reform gave HUGE tax cuts to the wealthy & corporations, especially to those Trump himself has an interest in, but does comparatively nothing for regular Americans. But this is to prove the point that Republicans care more for their corporate overlords than actual people. Further, the deficit has SOARED under Trump. That bill is coming, folks, and it ain't gonna make America great.

Regulatory Reform: Trump has dismantled or destroyed so many regulations without any plan on how to reform or reorganize them that it's staggering. We're going back to the huge pollution disasters of the 50s & 60s (MAGA!), not to mention destroying wildlife preserves & fishing sanctuaries, all in the name of corporate profits. And again, those aren't benefiting average Americans.

So, what a list. Disaster, disaster, disaster, disaster, disaster.

But at least Marco Rubio's former Chief of Staff is "good."  For now.

Of that list, the one that bothers me the most is rebuilt military.

It's hard to believe these people have been freebasing conservative propaganda long enough to actually think after Obama our military required rebuilding. Just completely delusional.

But they did elect Trump and here we are.
