knapplc Posted April 4, 2019 Share Posted April 4, 2019 There's another possibility - that the report exonerates Trump as much as Barr intimated, and the White House is letting this speculation fester until it's a committable position, then they'll release the report and those people will be publicly embarrassed. But to prove that, they'll have to release the report. What could be even more damaging, politically, is if it's not released and then leaked (tomorrow is Friday), and it hammers Trump. Then Trump's actions and appointments, and the actions of those he appointed, will be fair game. But, again, this is all speculation until the report is released or leaked.
