Frostberg
I'd rank it like this: 1. Ohio St 2. Penn St 3. Wisconsin 4. Oregon Quote Link to comment
Hilltop
Hard to determine until the season gets rolling. Ohio St. had a lot of turn over and Urban is due for a down year if history repeats. Penn St. isn't anointed back yet in many peoples view. The toughest game that matters the most to Nebraska is Wisconsin in my book. That game is crucial to our chances of winning the west and they should be as good or better than they were last year. Quote Link to comment

Ohio St. may be due for a down year but, until that shows I have to continue to think they will be at the top of the big ten. I put Penn St. at 2 because it is a road game and Wisconsin is home game. If we can get a night game against Wisconsin I like our chances. No doubt the Wisconsin game matters the most though. Quote Link to comment

skersfan
The first game, then the next, the next and on and on. We have shown for the last 19 years or so, we can be our own worst enemy. Failing to play to the fans expectations is quite normal for the program. I think there is a team very close that has had our number and we need to win that game. Ohio State will be just fine, and Franklin did turn around a true doormat in Vanderbilt. He is the real deal. Thinking we win any of these games without it being our best game of the year, or perhaps the last 10 years is questionable. Reality, we have a long ways to go, to finish before we truly believe we are on a level with at least 4 other teams in the big ten. Until Nebraska wins those games it is just wishing and hoping. Mentally, our toughest opponent is Wisconsin. They've utterly OWNED Nebraska since we've joined the Big 10. Quote Link to comment
lo country
As some have mentioned, themselves. For years the team has been plagued by the one nut kick play that seemed to mentally break them. I think 2015 might have been one of the more complete "mental" seasons we had. Talent wise OSU. Paying rent inside our guys heads.....Wisky and Iowa Quote Link to comment
