I know your question was probably rhetorical, but according to wikipedia, they do not. There are 32 countries, mostly Muslim, that use caning of some sort as punishment. I found it odd that one providence in Indonesia just recently began using caning as punishment. I figured that by the 21st century, countries would be moving away from such punishment, not towards it. Quote Link to comment
