This is my only concern as well. With a fast paced, higher scoring offense it isn't as easy being a DC. I know he has been with his current DC since UNI days, but hopefully he cuts ties if they want to continue running that prevent 3-4 that Diaco basically ran. I just don't think it can work in the B10

It can't. If it could or if it did, one of the top 4-5 teams in the conference would be doing it.

Running that defense would really be the only thing to take the air out of the Scott Frost sails at this point. Other than that, I'd be totally happy to see the no-huddle spread here.

There was an interview with Frost while he was at Oregon, can't find the link, but he makes mention of combining speed and power, we will just have to wait and see.  I myself wouldn't mind seeing a return to the Osborne offense of the 90's with a fullback.

I'm sure you will remember that Osborne was running a lot of spread offense principles in the 90s.  The Twitter feed of SpreadOffense.com had a breakdown of how Osborne was one of the first offensive innovators who was shifting to spread offense principles.  A couple of weeks ago, there is a thread on here that discussed those tweets, but I can't find it right now.

Did anyone notice the speed option Frost ran a few times against USF including one for a TD? I only watched a few of their games this year but I never saw them run it before. I was secretly hoping Frost was sending us a message.

Yep, noticed that a while back that it appeared he (Osborne) may have been either the first or one of the first to use it.  Was surprised seeing a lineup without just one back.

UCF ran a few triple option (I think they were veers) out of shotgun against USF. Their QB did a good job faking the pitch and he and the back kept pitch relationships and the QB pitched it about 5 yards past the LOS. It scored a TD one time. So much fun to watch.

How long ago were the tweets for TO on spreadoffense.com? I did a glance but...  Found it!

It was cool to watch and I was wondering if that was something new since they looked a little shaky running it.  Maybe it was something they thought would work after practicing for Navy.  I prefer to think Scott was telling us he's N
