We heard the defense was playing really well and had the upper hand on offense last year, which led a lot of people to believe (and expect) the defense would be improved. That ended up being far from the reality.

 

We also heard Frost last year say his defense was ahead last fall....then the offense exploded.

 

The normal scenario in such coaching changes is for the defense to make the initial jump. Simply the easier side to turn small corrections into big gains. More moving parts on the offense.

Yeah, you could probably pick any one of five or so (maybe more) and make a case for him. THERE WERE SO MANY!
