But they are irrelevant to our NT depth, which is what is being discussed involving Tony Fair. 1 Quote Link to comment

Never said Vaha was good either, just stating what the depth would be at that time--- and that's even if he stays. Vaha and Carlos are both listed as Juniors this year. So, Vaha has another year after Carlos? That doesn't sound right. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
We just need NT's. True NT's. Don't care what grade they will be in. 1 Quote Link to comment

Huskers93-97
Fair to say the staff knows how to manage the roster better than we do? Not to mention they have all kinds of information to base this move from. Maybe he doesnt have his grades in order, maybe he took a drop in on field production this year, maybe we have a grad transfer coming we didnt expect, maybe we are in on a highly rated high school kid. Maybe its a combination of all those things plus other factors we are not privy too. 1 Quote Link to comment

When does Frost's literal quote: "When a player commits to us, we commit to them" not supposed to mean what he said? And again, I'm fine with Frost getting players in that can win games. But that was a very public, honorable quote. 2 Quote Link to comment

Maybe something happened off field and its not public and we dont want to air the dirty laundry so we are just backing away and told him we gotta back away. 2. Maybe he committed under the preface that we would let him commit but its not a firm commit because he doesnt have his school under control and that we would continue to recruit a replacement assuming he cant make it. That if we get that replacement before he has his grades 100% confirmed then we cannot afford to get burned. So we may have been 100% up front with him. I could easily see this being the situation because he was very respectful to Nebraska and did not appear angry or surprised by the decision to part ways. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Huskinator
There is a lot of speculation here. Things may come forward and they may not. We are simply not going to find our fom the Nebraska side. They can’t talk about it. If a noee gaurd of his size and ability doesn’t land at a good d1 school, we will know that there are other issues. 1 Quote Link to comment

Maybe one of the walk-ons are developing really well. Recruiting is about getting the best kid for your system and we do not know what Frost & his staff are looking for. Quote Link to comment
