And our recruiting isn't helping. We scored another three star guy today. Up to 12. Ranked 42nd. That's just not good enough.

We are actually 33rd right now. We rank  17th  in average star rating at .8905 which is better than last year and the year before that but go off.

Trending towards another top 20 class but not top 15.

Another class like last years would go a long way. Thus far this group is a little better than the last which was a little better than Scotts first class which was better than anything Riley brought in. Just keep plugging away, I think it will take a big season to break into the top 15. Doing as good as we can thus far though.

Another note; pretty sure we haven't recruited back to back top 20 classes since they really started tracking recruiting rankings

Great teams - especially in this conference - are built at the line of scrimmage, and that's been the deficiency of Nebraska teams for 6+ years. Unfortunately, that's also the part of a team that takes the longest to improve and develop, and Frost knows that. Our O-Line is really young this year, and it's become obvious that Frost is willing to deal with the growing pains while those young guys develop and learn by playing the position.

Nail it...

That was strength of those Husker teams of the 80's and 90's.  The lines on both sides of the ball were stout.

That's where his success will be predicated on, how good his lines are.  A good O line can make a qb  or rb better, and a good D line makes the lb's better..

And Ohio State. Just got punched in the face. No push back, at all. Save for the double wing fullback excitement. But that was it. That was all.

Gdam, as a serious afficionado of the running attack would you people please learn the difference between a slot back and a wing back.

Even more than having to pay his buyout after doing such a bad job. If you tell a kid to go somewhere else u should lose ur buyout

Bo Pelini poisoned the well on the way out and he got his money. I think Riley, who was a lame duck getting railed by everyone giving a kid who already  decommitted some advice can be forgiven if Bo can.
