It makes sense, they are taking a "hardline approach" on crime, more cops on the streets, state patrol out all over, modern technology being used.

If I am going to commit a crime I am surely not doing it in a place that makes it hard.  Good for San Fran for these measures.  With that said, I never really heard about high crime rates in San Fran before...just high property taxes, like, really high, like super duper high.

True. San Francisco has never had a high crime rate. San Francisco, like the rest of California, actually has a lower property tax rate than Lincoln, Nebraska, thanks to Prop 13 passed decades ago. Real estate itself is expensive, because the liberal socialists here make tons of money and people like living in the Bay Area. California is a paradise made even moreso by Joe Biden's America!

Weather wise, San Fran or San Diego?  Which is better in your opinion?

Please quote where I’ve ever said this.  When you finally admit you can’t, maybe a rational discussion can be had on your part.

What? I can have a rational discussion whenever you'd like.

America being a lawless hellhole is currently at the center of Republican Politics. You act like I'm making this up as part of some "GOTCHA!". It's currently the flagship of the Trumpism, the guy you twice voted for and who has bent the Republican party to his will. Don't sit here and act like this is me coming out of left field. Jesus Christ, the Presidential candidate of your party is literally acting like Democrats are corrupting the deep state against him and charging him with crimes he didn't commit.

And you want to post about about "where did I say that". Your continued support of Republicans - no matter how low they sink - is what says it. You refuse to take responsibility for your part in creating Trump. Until you're ready to do that, stop voting. Stop engaging in politics.

You are making it up.  Let me know when I’ve said the following.  When you can’t, maybe you can let us all know why you use untrue hyperbolic  statements vs having a rational discussion.

But if you chose to believe that America is a lawless hellhole

I’m trying to research this. All I can find is tweets claiming Biden “pledged” 7.5 billion to build them and a few that make it sound like the problem is the money hasn’t been spent.

So, do you have more information on this claiming Biden wasted 7.5 billion?  Hey, as much as republicans don’t like EVs, if the money hasn’t been spent, you should be ecstatic.

Governments (national state local are all pretty incompetent when it comes to spending money).  Whether it’s the cost or speed of rollout (remember all those shovel ready jobs ). It took forever to spend that money too.

Don't you mean "electric"

Hahaha

But for real, I see more Teslas on the road right now...it is a lot.  I know their stock has been weird the last few months but the cars must be selling.

I can’t read that because I don’t have a subscription. That the same article you posted before. Do you have anything else?

So, you’re saying it hasn’t been spent. Oh the horror.

Do you know why it hasn’t been spent?

And, that’s very different than claiming they spent 1billion per station.

No sorry.  I just did a google search for that specific article and I was able to read it all.

By the way….to get the best search results for google….type in Before:2023  then your search terms.  It helps bypass the stupid algo’s that muddy up a search query.

This is because the money is set aside for states to use. They were then given time, a year but they could apply for extensions, to submit plans for how the money would be spent to best serve their communities. It takes time to get electricity components to these areas.

Ironically, this law is going to spend money and invest in rural areas the most - places most in need of charging stations since the free market has chosen not to spend money there.

I'm sorry if it was hyperbolic of me to respond to your post that said "welll ackchyually violent crime may be dropping but people are still getting shot they just aren't dying" in a thread titled "Biden's America". My mockery of MAGA voters went to far by assuming that a post in a specific thread were related to each other.

Wait.....so the money hasn't been spent?

So....how exactly did they spend over $1,000,000,000 per station that has been built?

We have 2-3 charging stations/stalls at my school, I think.

But I have never seen a charging station like in the "real world" yet.  Do they just look like a gas station with a little store where you can also buy snacks?
