ATL Ron Acuna (amazing player) is hitting .333 and on pace to hit 30 homers and steal 60 bases.  

 

The pitch clock and 2 limit throws from pitcher to base runners is changing the game to add more excitement in my opinion.  Advantage base runners.

And, he worked a lot more innings per game than pitchers now days.

Johnny Vander Meer threw two consecutive no-hitters.  85 years ago to the day, in fact.

That's right.  Also in 1938 one of the top musical singles was "A Tisket, A-Tasket" by Ella Fitzgerald.  And the best selling car was Buick Century, Series 61 and sold for $1250.  There was also 16 MLB teams in 1938.  

 

Pretty nice feat, no wonder nobody ever matched it.  Even though Nolan Ryan came pretty close in the modern era.

We are going to the Rockies Angels game on Sunday. Doesn't appear that Shohei will be pitching, but we're very excited to see him play, especially at Coors Field.

At least you didn’t go for the 25-1 drubbing on Saturday. Although rumor has it that every fan left with an Angels homerun ball

I missed the last time he was in town against the White Sox and I really wish I would have went.  Really want to see him play also.  Enjoy!
