If they get out of line, you can hit him with a sack of sweet Valencia oranges. It won't leave a bruise but it'll let them know who's boss.

You giving me lip boy?

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then winter came and the grasshopper died. And the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?

Remember the show Family Ties with Alex P. Keaton (Michael J. Fox)? Alex had a little brother, Andy Keaton--the cute little blonde kid played by actor Brian Bonsall. After Family Ties ended Brian Bonsall moved to Boulder Colorado and joined a band. Below is the before/after. Wow.

Ha ha! Sure, maybe a bit recreational drug use--in former times. But not the neck tattoos or lip rings. What guy would want those anyway??

That TD reception call in the Packers/Seahawks game caused $300 million to change hands--a lot of it going to casinos. Maybe more. LINK

I googled to find out who from Workaholics. (Didn't find out.) But I see that Madmen's John Slattery--the boss, Roger Sterling--is also going to be on Arrested Development when they bring it back next year. Weird that there is a six year hiatus and they bring the show back for another season.

That's the power of Netflix!

Here's a pic from the set of Arrested Development where you can see Adam and Anders:

Just bought a leather jacket from the pawnshop down the street. $35. Brown lambskin, lined with fitted sleeves, and a zipper. Roundtree & York (a brand I hadn't heard of before). It's a little bit scuffed up. But that's the way I like leather jackets to look. Plus it's got that convenient inner pocket that just fits a fifth.

Two awesome videos.

The first: Soccer sucks. But this goal celebration does not suck. Sooooo badass.

Second: Larry Allen is (was) ridicuous. John Madden goes nuts.

Damn, that's impressive. 320 O-linemen are not supposed to be able to run like that. The LB had the angle on him too. Barry Switzer on the sidelines? What year was that?

Introducing the word 'trow'. A substitute for 'true', although it means that something is thought to be true or believed to be true.

trow [trəʊ] v. to think, believe, or trust.

trow(trPosted Image)
intr.v. trowed, trow·ing, trows

1. Archaic To think.

2. Obsolete To suppose.

The failure to condemn is necessarily the act to condone.

I bought a case of bourbon tonight. Most I've ever spent on booze at one time.

I, on occasion, will throw a bourbon our two back. It may be on record somewhere

Hudson Baby Bourbon or Angels Envy.

Lots of people would throw out Makers Mark, try Makers 46 instead. Newer recipe and I like it better.

but Hudson baby Bourbon would be my first choice

not sure if you guys remember me saying that i thought my dog was going to have to be put down, but she seems to have recovered. i still am not entirely sure of how healthy she is or is not, but she is back to her old self. she has an incredible pain threshold, which i think has become a liability.

That's a real tough call. To know when she's in pain to the point where you should end it. Sorry for the fix you're in dude. I hope she remains better, and has a few more good months or even years.

Okay, I have to admit that the stuff I bough isn't technically a bourbon. It's made in Tennessee, not Kentucky. Just like Jack Daniels is technically not a bourbon. But damn, it sure tastes good.

it is pretty incredible, her turnaround. but i have never seen a dog so sick, and with her age. she is resilient and tough. thanks for the kind words.
