    I was going to say people that draw attention to themselves in public for no other reason than to draw attention to themselves: Cell phone talkers, cursing in public, crazy clothing - but that's probably not a pet peeve. Lots of people find that annoying, to me a pet peeve is something small that could easily be ignored that for some reason bothers me a lot. - People that take forever to make turns - People that walk slower than me in confined spaces - and I'm not a fast walker - When I plug something in and the prongs don't allign correctly with the outlet - When people take five minutes to say something that could have been said in 30 seconds. - Anyone texting me

    I believe that the ignore function also prevents an ignored user from commenting on your status. I'm not entirely sure but I had it happen with another user I'm ignoring, he complained that he couldn't comment and I hadn't locked the status so it makes me wonder. Pretty cool feature if it's real.

    There is an option for this...you can click on a user's profile and there's a "display name history" link. Not sure what you mean by list. You mean like in a thread? We could just have a Name Change super-thread stickied at the top of this sub-forum for stuff like this. The mods could update it to show the date it was changed and what it was changed to - but all of that would be redundant work because of the link.

    What's something you find disgusting that most people don't? For me it's feet. People in sandals, people sitting on couches barefoot and rubbing their bare feet on the upholstery...disgusting.

      I would have stood up but earlier some guys behind us got all chapped at another guy for standing too long so I weighed my choices. ( I am older and have some tendonitis and keeping my legs tucked under me isn't at all comfortable for more than 10 or 15 mins.) About 30 secs after I made my choice this guy stood up, turned around and screamed at the top of his lungs for me to remove my feet and keep them on my side. It was a fun afternoon!

    Solid write up redux. +1. I most wanted Nebraska to develop a rivalry with Penn State but these things take a while, decades really, to develop and I don't see it happening now that you're in separate divisions. I don't know the Nebraska/Iowa dynamic so I have no idea if you will become rivals. Border =/= automatic rivals. As far as Wisconsin goes I'm not sure that a rivalry will develop. If anything it will be like the Michigan State - Wisconsin relationship. It took decades and decades to get the Badgers where they are with Iowa and Minnesota. But hey if you really want to jump in our hate triangle go right ahead. . We can make it a quadrangle of hate but you have to agree to hate Minnesota to fit in.
