I just talked to my daughter who lives across the street from Union Station in Kansas City. She said they closed the road in front of their building at 5 this morning so she and her husband couldn’t
get out to go to work!

Anyone got experience buying 3rd party extended warranty from dealer on a used car? Good/bad?

The Huskers beat Hawaii to go to the Elite Eight.
Louisville beats Texas and bounces them from the tournament.
I'd have to say it was a good day.

Look at Oregon running all those trick plays.

LOL. Herbert has a better mastery of trick plays than McCaffrey, IMO. But seriously, watching the speed the players from both teams play makes me think our players are going at about 80%. I don't know if it's a lack of depth or something else but it seems like we play at a 800m pace instead of a sprint.

Whenever I watch these top 10 teams play I feel like my Huskers go into a gun fight with water pistols. The speed of the running backs and wide receivers, the size and quickness of the D lineman is nearly depressing.

I was watching an Oregon game and saw a play we run. I was thinking wow, that's how it's supposed to look. The biggest difference was the speed it was executed at. Our players looks like they are playing in mud.
Wisconsin does a very good job developing players but they also get them to play hard. They had to play a freshman DB against Minnesota and held his own against Minny's WRs. He wasn't big and didn't appear to be overly fast. He just played with a want to attitude. Sometimes I get the impression that our players aren't willing to make a play out of concern for injury. That wasn't even on the Wisconsin freshman's mind.

This game nearly broke me.

That may be my favorite way Alabama has lost a game ever! Freaking hilarious.

13 commits, with signing day a month out? This program is as bad as it ever was under Riley, or Bill.

Lots of tickets listed for $40 on Stubhub for the Wisconsin game. Apathy has shown its ugly face once again

Oh, hi. Funny story. Nebraska Volleyball just beat our arch-nemesis in a gritty tough match after a pretty damned difficult week because those players are mentally strong as hell.
-
You could take the entire premise of fever pitch and attach it to nebraska football. Thats how bleek this is starting to look. We lose today and weve lost the team the rest of the season.

Omaha World Herald (AP) - A 15 year old boy was at the center of a Douglas County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Congratulations to these guys who are getting close to a viable ocean plastic cleanup system and already deployed a few systems to capture plastics at river source.
-
Maybe they thought the plastic was washing out to sea. What the OceanCleanup guys found was the mass of the plastic accumulated in the gyre didn't have near the amount of plastic known to be discharged into the ocean. Based on the dates of some plastics found in the gyre they didn't think the plastics were being broken down into microplastics and forming a smog that was theorized. They believe that after a few years it washes ashore and a small fraction escapes into the ocean currents and into the gyre. They may not be s#itting where they sleep but where their neighbor sleeps. I know in the PI people are getting a lot more conscious of plastic pollution. My wife and I sponsored a local beach cleanup which they had been conducting for a few years and they are making a huge effort to clean up Manila Bay.
