I dreamed a song last night that I can't find on google or You Tube. The impression I remember from the style of the song is it sounded like the Allman Bros. The singer was shocked that his girl friend had ended their relationship and he was trying to tell her they had something good. Finally he realizes she won't be convinced and starts the chorus of the song with the line "It's all good, there's no bad." Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Running is not going well. Mostly because I'm not a runner, and because running is the devil. But I've got a 5K route planned for this evening, and while I'll probably die doing it, I'm going to do it.

In graduate school, I had a buddy that studied exercise physiology in runners. I was a participant in one of his studies testing the physiological economy of barefoot running. It get me hooked for quite awhile. I found, I had a lot more endurance overall and spring in each step (not to mention the biofeedback you experience when your foot is physically contacting the ground with no barrier in between). The obvious downside is the toll to your feet if you run on pavement (especially with high mileage), which I reduced by running on the grass next to sidewalks, roads, and trails.
Otherwise, I really like Asics, but that probably has to do with how comfortable I feel in them due to my history wrestling.
