    If you could eliminate any penalty in football, what would you choose and why?

    I'd choose false starts (and the defensive counterpart offsides). You could still blow the play dead, but don't waste time explaining the call or allowing the teams to re-huddle and call in new plays. Just force them to line up and get after it.

    All of Iowa melting down due to Carson King reporting by the DSM Register. The Register is failing overnight. Already had to release a statement the was woefully tone deaf and threw gas on the fire. I can't look away

      As an update and to clarify. The story is that the college student, when he was 16 years old, shared two quotes that he thought were funny from the Tosh.O show on Comedy Central. Not that he was a screaming racist. Any body who ever saw Tosh.O knows that he very frequently pushed boundaries and said distasteful things. @suh_fan93

    Has anyone worked more than one job at a given time? Mine was 3 ( 1 full time job and 2 part time jobs)

      Part- time cook at bar and grill, part-time pig tech/ farm hand, 15 credit hours in college, and collegiate choir and wrestling all at the same time. Pulled double duty after college for 3 years, full-time office gig, and 20-30 hour per week waiting tables, and lead singer of a gigging band.

    It was a rough day yesterday at Nebraska Kearney.  4.6 million dollars in budget cuts throughout the university forced them to cut $450K from the Athletic Dept.  Adios mens baseball, tennis and golf.

      The truth is this is not unique to Nebraska, however, it does seem to be unique to states that currently have a sitting Republican governor with Koch brother support. Walker has done a real number on the University of Wisconsin system. Why is this bad? Becuase the university systems in rural states tend to be one of the most important economic drivers within a state. Not only do they train the next generation of workers, but they also provide valuable resources to farmers, ranchers, small businesses, and more. Diminishing the University systems to correct self-imposed budget shortfalls will overall weaken the state's economies and opportunities for future growth, as well as encourage, rather than discourage, the "brain drain." That rural states are already facing.
