    The rising cost of college tuition is simple: the government will foot the bill and force you by law to pay it back. Only in extreme circumstances can you be forgiven for student loans. Also, do a quick Google on the correlation between rising college costs and administration pay. College and universities are adding administration jobs and not very many actual education positions. Google Dallas mavericks owner and read what he thinks about the situation. He projects a bubble to burst of college student loans and of course the fall out will be a complete collapse of most colleges. An optimistic outlook he has is that college will become MUCH more affordable.

    A game like yesterday is where the new analytics guy will have work to do. The odds of winning the division were going to greatly decrease with a loss from here on out. I would have like to seen a more aggressive nature on 4th and short with the wind at out back past the 50 early on in the game. Perhaps a trick play or two for that monster first down we needed. GBR regardless

      At this point the data shows the defense cannot hold in the last minute of the game. Besides uncreative playcallig and lack of effort there at the end by the offense. I think we could have justified a 4 down situation. The analytics guys are really going to change the game.

      A couple plays. The kstate center snapped the ball past their QB because he saw a TCU DE jump offsides. Although they fumbled it obviously they gained the penalty yards. Later in the game the QB pump faked then kept the ball at his hip and the LB literally stopped a slobber knocker hit because he thought he threw it.

      As time goes on perhaps when he has installed his system 4-5 years, I will expect the above, and that we start to win divisional titles, and of course within 10 play for a national title. At this point Riley will be over 70 and we go Frost or Langsford.

      Compete and improve. That's it. Be a better team than you were when you started. Boy, these injuries are making it tough, but all this experience for these young guys will pay off too. First year is a tough year for people who set themselves up for a let down.

      I like one of Sam's recent tweets regarding expectations. Something like, "When things set up for it, finish big". Id est, don't fizzle out and lose 19-7 to Washington in the Holiday Bowl because "it's so boring to play the same team twice."

    I was trying be funny by presenting the notion a prerequisite to becoming uooer management is to be disliked. Which, it the line of work I do, seems to be true. I digress, one should treat others with respect (golden rule) while also being a leader, not a boss. There is a difference.

    You act like the coaches spend unlimited time with these kids. This isn't the NFL bro. They are limited in every way and are just coming out of the starting blocks. They can barely decide who should do what and when let alone you expect them to be able to communicate with perfection game management. A child like expectation. Give it time.

    I don't go straight to firing when I evaluate Riley. That's second. First, I go to "never should have been hired in the first place". Once again, another child like statement. Im just saying. The original poster is right. Commit to the team and stop with the belly aching. We arnt firing anyone this year and unfortunately Riley was hired. Less childish statements would make for a better hiskerboard.
