  1. Agree, I am really disappointed as well. I just get frustrated by fans that don't have a clue pointing to things that aren't the glaring problem. Our fans a great... But some behind keyboards are clueless.
  2. Nobody wants to listen to reality... Our defense is a problem, no doubt. Our offense scored enough too be a 9-10 win team this year. Of course you can second guess play calling. Every team can.... Just see Ohio State's forums lol. Hopefully we get some talent in to help in the if season. Until next year, GBR
  3. So why post that message on this thread? We were a 5 win team playing a top 20 team and we took them to the last second. Coaching is easy to second guess but talent is an obvious issue. I made this thread to illustrate that many more talented teams coached by more heralded coaches scored much less against Iowa.
  4. For everyone hating on Frost and his offensive play calling.... Take a look at Iowa's points allowed this year per team. 24 is the most they have allowed. Plenty of things to second guess but their defense created problems for everyone they faced this year. Our offense wasn't the issue today. Our defense and special teams are a topic for other threads.
  5. I would never want to trade places with them. Being happy with 8 win seasons and boring AF football... no thank you. The down years suck but I hope we never get to the point we are that complacent.
  6. I learned that pessimistic Husker fans will find creative ways to complain even when we win by 47 points.
  7. We have a LOT more to play for and it's at home. I think we beat Iowa and win in our bowl game against a mediocre opponent. Going into the off-season with a winning record would sure be nice.
  8. The schedule sets up for a nice start to the season as well. From Oct 31st on however it gets very challenging. Hopefully we have some confidence built by the time we hit the tougher games on the schedule. Oct 31st - at Ohio State Nov 7th - vs Penn State Nov 14th - at Iowa Nov 21st - at Wisconsin Nov 27th - vs Minnesota
  9. We have had a few guys wide open that we have missed but in general we haven't thrown over the top a lot. I believe that's a combination of poor pass protection, at times, limiting time in the pocket to throw and having limited receiver speed in general.
  10. Because 80% of husker nation doesn't post on forums.
  11. Lets all hope he turns into the next Travis Kelce (6'5"/260lbs) or Rob Gronkowski (6'6"/265lbs).
  12. AM is a great player going through a slump. As a current coach, I completely understand sticking with him. Hopefully at some point in the future, AM will realize his full potential and all of our fans will understand. This is about the future everyone. It sure stinks to watch right now though. GBR
  13. I heard from a really reputable source that the Huskers plan to try to win every remaining game. That person also eats supper every night with someone. I think we will win out. GBR
  14. 6-6 minimum. We have lost to two Undefeated teams and in overtime on the road. I honestly feel 7-5 is realistic and 8-4 is very possible.
  15. Home town Utica... Centennial Bronco and then transferred to Kearney senior year. Those of us in Utica are proud as well. We watched him and his dad at the field a lot of hours by themselves... Nice to see the hard work party off.
  16. I am begging for the eyeroll , thumbs down or something to indicate we don't agree. Please?
  17. On a PC, the ads aren't bad to me. On my phone, they are just too much. I won't be logging in mobile anymore.
  18. I seriously can't believe a Nebraska fan would even consider this. We need the eye roll, thumbs down, or just a simple down vote option.
  19. Read the original post... If TO is 10 and Riley is 0.... I'm still confident in Frost. No need to call me a name for remaining positive about a bump in the road of a multi year rebuild.
  20. I'm actually enjoying the bit of humor... beats all the doom and gloom.
  21. People should have to blow into one of those alcohol testing devices before being allowed to post. Vedral is a great kid with a lot of heart but nowhere near the caliber of AM. We have a pile if deficiencies that all contribute to play that isn't good at times.... But it's not all on AM. Our fan base needs more patience and a reality check. 8-4 over the last 12 games is good progress. Beating NW who just gave Wisconsin their only challenge of the year is good progress. Quit believing every snippet the media feeds you. This rebuild is going to be 3-5 years. GBR
  22. That is a stark difference and definitely positive direction! It may not be pretty but it's progress!
