  1. Yeah, not a huge surprise. What is though is how smoothly Frost has transitioned and how many good recruits he got to sign all while coaching another team. He's had an amazing 3 months. Oh wait he's been here 2 and half weeks.
  2. I haven't seen this much hype since Johnny Stanton Patrick O'Brian Tanner Lee Glad we got him. I think I'm going to try to wait until the spring game to let myself get too hyped.
  3. I said two years ago that I was happy that he committed and would be sad when he decommitted. I was pleasantly surprised when he stayed for so long. I would like to say I was right all along, but it's more like I was wrong twice.
  4. Dan Mullen is a 'D' pick. He went 69 - 46 with Mississippi St which is already meh, but 4 of those years were with Dak Prescot. In conference without Dak he is 16-24. .400 win percentage. He will not be coach of Florida three years from today.
  5. Ameer Abdullah is smart, well spoken and has good leadership skills. Unfortunately, he hasn't done that well in the pros. Ndamukong Suh has done very well, but he's done some dumb stuff and is a bit controversial and although I like him, but I'm not sure he should be the face of Nebraska football. Ultimately, I just picked Abdullah though.
  6. Ok this thread was actually pretty good. I stopped reading the last couple weeks, but I just went back and this thread was actually pretty hilarious.
  7. I am so happy for Scott Frost. The season couldn't have ended any better for him. To take an 0-12 team and make them 12-0 conference champions says it all. I am so happy for him, the ucf players, his new family and the husker nation. And finally, I am so excited to update my location to Lincoln Nebraska!
  8. Are we really going to fault someone for initially picking Stanford over Nebraska?
  9. Hey actual GameDay advice: I know the link said line starts at 5:00 A.m. but if you get there before then if you want a prime spot. The exact time depends on a couple things but mostly the weather. So I live in Madison and Gameday has been here two years in a row. 2016 was really nice weather and people legit started standing in line at 8:00 the day before and people who came at 5:00 a.m. that day couldn't get into the main area. This year it snowed on us (so less people wanted to come) and we got into the main area by arriving at 5:30 a.m. The sticks on our signs aren't allowed in that first area, but if you're not going to come early enough for that then you should have them because it will make your sign more visible and easier to carry as you will be holding it for many hours. The only place they enforce any of their rules are in the main area and the coca cola student section. Obviously, you can't have a sign if you go to the student section, but you will get to be on T.V. a lot- you'll also have to show up really early for that too (they just ask people until it's full). You'll have to be early for the hard hats and earlier for the gloves. The gloves are sick too. They are like actual football gloves with the kinda sticky side. If they ask you a trivia question the Washington St Flag is named 'old crimson'. I love gameday, I watch it every Saturday. Post your sign and I'll look for it.
  10. I am so excited to update my location from Orlando Florida to Lincoln Nebraska.
  11. I learned that I was more emotionally invested in the outcome of the ucf game
  12. Call time outs at the end of the game to maximize my remaining time as head coach
  13. We can't win this game. It's impossible. Mike Riley is 19-18 right now. It is destiny for him to end his career at exactly 500.
  14. Ugg. It's impossible for us to snag a spot on the map.
  15. Before the game I would have given him until the end of the season, but after today... yeah he can go tomorrow morning
  16. We should probably give Riley 5-10 more years to get his players in
