I just want do know or helped be made to understand where the offensive play calling on the 1st drive went. Di we use all our plays on the drive? Its obvious they want the ball in Palmers hands. Is Omar hurt?

Linebacker play was terrible. There were a few plays where our 2 middle backers ran straight into the line of scrimmage where there wasn't even a play lol. Nickle was missing tackles left and right. Zone coverage was horrid, but that's what happens when you have 0 pass rush.

7) Northwestern: 3-9 last year might look like a good season compared to this year. They are going to suck. Same Every year yet Seem to compete with us lol 6) Illinois: I think their season might hinge on Wyoming. They should win that but start off 0-1 with a loss to Wyoming could ruin things / We better win 5) Minny: Bad QB, bag WR's 38 year old RB with no knees and no OL / Seem to beat US every year with Bad qb's 4) Iowa: Lucky last year, that won't happen again. Lets hope not. 3) Purdue: Throw out the last half of the season when everything went right for them. Easy cross over games (I think) will help. I think we blow them out. 2) Wisconsin: No real reason that they could not be 1,2,3,4. But their QB is horrible. Again they make us look bad for 3quarters and have a 4th quarter meltdown NU wins. 1) Nebraska: Why not? The West is filled with basically the same average to below average teams. If NU is just error free for the most part they should win, they have the most talent in west by far. Scott Frost team Error Free...... Damn good thing We brought in Mickey and the Old guy.

NIckel only s 2 D-Lineman? I thought Nickel was a 4-2-5 type of formation. On a side note, I hate playing with 3 d-lineman. Would much rather see 4-3 / 4-2-5 defesne

Is Demas transferring? Wasn't he just arrested? Kid was a great talent letting to many people guide him in different direction's.

If we had a offense where 1 of our running backs had 220-230 carries in a season we would probably have a top 5 guy in the nation. Just drinking my Kool-Aid over here.

He has looked okay-ish due to the play calling and offense Frosty calls. Put Manning on the field in a halfway successful passing offense scheme and I bet hes impressive. I think Omar is going to have Year like Pitts leading WR this past season.. Maybe not the same but it will be a good one.

I want to see a for sure #1 and 2 back that get 90% of the carries. Im tired of seeing 4-5 guys splitting the bulk of carries. Michigan had a nice 1-2 punch but look at most teams that have dominate run games the majority of the work comes from one guy. Nothing wrong #3 and 4 guys getting some reps at the end of the game but these guys need games to get better.

It may be a bit of kool-aide drinking. Who cares. But I for 1 am a bit excited to see what our Offense could look like with a Qb who can stand in the pocket and deliver the football on short passes as well as the deep ball. If our WR Coach can get our Group of Wr's to run routes and get open our Rb's will improve alone. The o-line just has to be a little bit above average for this offense to succeed and win some games. Now if they can become good even better. I know im drunk of the K-aide but hell we deserve to be excited for once..

That's fine, I would still rather take Yant and his stature and style for B1G play.
