      I know the rates used to go down dramatically on the weekends out in Sorrento valley. I've stayed in the Hyatt or Country Inn before, on the weekend. But that's a long ways from the beach or anything of interest.

      Also, I stayed in a Vagabond Inn just a couple blocks from the beach once. It was pretty cheap.

    Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odour. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.
