I used to root for the other teams in the Big 8. Then I rooted against all the non-Husker teams in the B12 after the old B8 teams stupidly voted in lockstep with the SWC castoffs. I've always rooted against the B10 and SEC, and I will continue to root against all the non-Husker teams. Who gives a crap if Minnesota goes to a bowl game or never wins another game? And I don't buy the perception arguments that somehow the conference being better means anything.

That's very similar to our house. We play Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Monopoly, and Dragonwood when my 8 year old is playing. And we add Munchkins, Exploding Kittens, Unstable Unicorns, and Jackbox (group video game everyone plays together using their smart phone) for the adults. Jackbox gets better the later it gets and the more people are drinking.

I doubt it. If we have another great President, then everyone after Reagan and until the next great one will simply be forgotten or an afterthought - like the ones between Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt.

No, we're pointing out the stupidity of these blowhards and of the ridiculous economic arguments they make. If they were just random people shouting on a street corner or on the internet, then I'd agree with you. But this is the President of the United States and the Republican politicians who are currently in control of both Houses of Congress. Simply ignoring these words and actions is how we ended up repeating the same mistakes. As pointed out, trickle down economic ideas continue to abound despite them failing spectacularly at every level.

I agree with your general point, but Trump has been running around claiming the successes of the stock market as his own. He and the Repubs told us all about how the tax cuts and deregulation would create this incredible economy. Now people are pointing out that Trump and the Repubs need to own the failures if they've been crowing about the successes.

Thanks for those recipes, @knapplc. Also, the reason to remove thyme is because the leaves can be too strong. I always remove fresh thyme and rosemary before serving or I put it in a spice grinder or food processor so there aren't any bites of the food that are too strongly thyme or rosemary. If that doesn't bother you, then you should leave them in and get that extra flavor.

FYI, the studies I've seen have recommended keeping the keto diet to less than 30-90 days and then transitioning to a Mediterranean diet for the long-term, which is similar to what you suggest other than the Med diet includes healthier fats.
