  1. Incredible comeback by Suhs' team. 20-nothing at half and they come back to win in overtime. Wowzers.

Calvin Johnson is a MAN. So glad I drafted him with my 1st pick in my fantasy league.

That was an amazing 2nd half...by both teams, but in two different directions. Go Lions!

  2. Is it just me, or is everyone talking about Pelini the past tense?

i don't know if he cares anymore. whether or not he knows his fate, he just seems checked out. but, again, if he was at the press conference with a cat in matching red sport jackets, we would have to keep him. right?

Could be. Things might be easier to tell if we were like Michigan and had decommits during the game.

  3. It's on your standard definition espn channel.

  4. Just realized I have no way to watch the Spring Game today. Crap going on tonight and the worthless BTN2go stuff is not offered by my cable provider. Sucks.

  5. Live in China. Solar powered heating for water. Two days of clouds. Yeah, my morning shower was great.

Now that the season is back on and I'm n a routine at work, I have more time for football stuff. Glad to rejoin the conversation.

I've always liked your take on Husker football, Husker_x. Glad you can be back.

  6. Man, the wheels are really coming off at USC. "Fire Kiffin" chants after the game, players yelling back. Oh their tears, they taste so wonderful.

  7. Marco Rubio backs away from SOPA/PIPA. Pressure's on and support is eroding quickly. Keep pouring on those letters and calls. Stop corporate censorship.

  9. MegaUpload taken down, founders arrested. I guess they didn't like the SOPA/PIPA thing blowing up in their faces.

Makes you wonder if they even need the legislation.

They don't, they're just humoring us.

  10. Michigan is on both channels right now. I'll be seeing red in about five minutes.

  11. Minnesota football.

  12. My problem with the offense is that I don't understand the offense. I get queasy throwing that "identity" word around, but we've been talking about it for so long it's still relevant. What are we trying to be?

      NUpolo8

At this point I'd settle for anything other than inept.

Agreed, Husker_x. Beck puts together good opening drives usually and gets defenses off balance, then from there on, he seems to just throw sh#t at the wall and see what sticks.

    3. TheSker

      TheSker

I agree.....Beck gets away from the ground game way too easily and quickly. We squander way too many second downs with pass attempts.

  13. New to BTN2GO. Does it carry games that are on ABC/ESPN, or even replays?

Btw as far as live games on ABC, I'm not sure, actually I don't think so. Few hour delay.

    3. whateveritis1224

      whateveritis1224

Live games on the ESPN channels won't appear on BTN2GO until Midnight eastern or something. BTN games will stream live and be available right away. At least that's what I think happens.

They had the bowl game against Georgia at one point.

  14. Nice hard-fought win today. Doesn't much change my read on the program, but well done anyway.

Much like the Northwestern win, this doesn't mean anything is fixed. It's a win, and some fun, and we should celebrate it.

  15. Nice win. Great fight from our players to the end. Unfortunately, the coaching picture is not changed one iota by this game.

    1. strigori

      strigori

Exactly. One game does not account for 7 years alone.

  16. None of this should be a big surprise. Pretty typical Pelini ball.

Seen it way too many times to even be surprised.

  18. One thing you CANNOT say is that you are surprised. The party's been over for awhile.

  19. Only saw the last two minutes (time delay), but I take it this defense figured some things out.

Yes they did. I would give the squad an A. Great performance all around.

she was the receivers coach at Wood River. Also she was the "throwers" coach on the Track team. Fsunny thing was she wasnt build very big. prob 5'6 110 pounds. Atleast from what I remember.

Without reading the actual paper, it seems like one of the all-too-common chicken and egg situations in evolutionary bio. Did selection pressures produce the increased protein, or did a mutation affecting protein structure allow for evolution in a new direction? Likely a combo of both
