    Food for thought:  If Nebraska keeps this up and Iowa gets on a streak and starts winning national championships.  It will STILL take them 20 YEARS to catch up with Nebraska's total number of wins

    I think its the adult's fault. The adults who put their kids into organized sports before 5th grade. Back when I was a kid in the stone age if you wanted to play a game you grabbed a ball and got your friends, made up your own rules and played. No adults needed. Also no adults on the sidelines causing trouble. Nothing personal against the OP, it is just how society is today.

    And the "neutral" site is almost always in the SEC footprint - usually a couple of hours drive from their campus. There is one way to combat this - other conferences quit agreeing to play SEC teams unless it is a home and home series, and a HUGH buy out if (when) they back out of the away game.
