  1. Mac Irvin...but I honestly don't think he would bother with NU.
  2. I think that is the name she goes by, isn't it? My guess is she doesn't feel she should be ashamed of her porn name. By the way...your porn name is supposed to be the name of your first pet and the first street you lived on. That makes me: Kody Williams. Looking back on it I wish my first pet had been named 18 inch and my first street was Dong Ave.
  3. If I am Tim I look at it differently right now. I am only worried about making the dance next year...do that and he buys himself an extension...don't do that and he is gone. I personally would not have worried about a transfer (from a horrible conference) that can't do anything for me next season. Because frankly, there is no more building if they don't make the dance next year.
  4. What?!?!? Chicago is the cleanest of all cities when it comes to politics.
  5. Cream cheese and salsa...such a great dip

Sour Cream and salsa. Simple but great for dipping.

    4. Red Five

      Red Five

Cover a block of cream cheese in jalapeno jelly.  Use whatever as a dipper.  So good...

  6. He can't play next year can he? Look at his stats...most won't transfer to P5 play...best team he played against was NCST...12 points, 6 rebounds, no steals...shot like 35%
  7. Yep...change of environment...new group of friends. It can be life changing.
  8. Do we all have to do that thing where we pretend like we care that the guy did something wrong and because of that "we" don't want him...or do just some of us have to do it so that we still have "board integrity"? If he is good, take him.
  9. Yep... It would be safe to say that many would say he is woke and on the neck of some people... I will post more bitchin slang later!
  10. I think this will be an outside the box hire...I think he goes hard after a "dirty" AAU coach, he has nothing to lose at this point...go make a nice offer to a guy that can funnel players to your program.
  11. Dang...why didn't he name where he got the take from!
  12. Since grad transfers only get 1 year (usually), do they still get to finish their masters degree for free?

Doubtful it's free, but non-athletic scholarships are always on the table

This is partly a guess, but, I think it depends on timing. I believe all NCAA athletes receive five years to play four seasons of competition. So, if they graduate and have two years of eligibility to play, that will be two years of tuition towards their masters.

However, I remember reading an article recently that found a significant portion of the 'graduate transfers' are abusing the system (primarily in football/basketball) by earning only a few graduate credits and then leaving school once their eligibility expires.

The thing about the grad transfer rule was that they were supposed to taking graduate studies that weren't offered at their original college/university.  That's how they were ruled immediately eligible.  Of course, most of the grad transfers aren't taking their graduate studies very seriously and are picking any graduate courses which qualify.

  13. Well, Meyer is scared of getting tired again and Jim is realizing that Andrew Luck isn't on his team...
  14. What do you think Moos drinks?  He is totally a good ole boy...

He was at Washington State right?  Pullman is legendary for their consumption of Busch Light.

  15. People want to make coaching way harder than it needs to be. You play the best players as soon as you can. The idea that you are going to get so much better during a redshirt year is really not as valid anymore. Years ago when high schools didn't lift the way do and when players were not working out on their free time with coaches/trainers it might have made sense but not anymore. You really don't get ready to play by not playing...
  16. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe he was looking for an out? I don't know...
  17. New coach at Pitt, closer to home might come into play now? Plus...I would imagine at Pitt, since they have no players left, that this guy is a starter from day 1
  18. I also take donations...only OVER 5 dollars though.
  19. This is what happens with two signing periods in basketball...This guy is all of a sudden a "big deal" because of what is left.
  20. I saw them in Indiana, Haymarket Arena. This was awhile ago. I like them a lot too but man the show was just so lame. Garbage opened up for them and they put on a good show.
  21. That was sort of the feel I got from the show...Make it easy...they have probably 10-15 pretty popular songs...play those songs, mix in a few new ones, mix in a few B-sides and one shorter instrumental...maybe a cover of a fun/popular song and get out.
  22. I like the Pumpkins but they do not put on a great live show...or at least the one I saw was lame. They didn't play their big hits, lots of "B-sides" and lots of long ass instrumentals.
