    When I was an apartment guy...I would just start my car and let it idle for like 20 minutes... Now on those times when I do have to scrape I start the car and then scrape.

    I don't want a gun. I did have a broken shaft of a golf club by my desk for years. I had taped up one end of it as a handle and the other end was pretty sharp. I also had a golf club next to my desk. In the end it wouldn't help I would imagine but I would rather have something than nothing. I would say that a lot of posters should probably just stop sharing their ideas and ask teachers what they want first. But I don't know what I would want. I have never felt unsafe while teaching but clearly that could change in a second. I am also on the top floor so there is no getting out of a window (well there is but you know what I mean). I don't want a gun in class...I don't want a knife...I don't want a taser (I would like to try a taser on some of you guys!).

      The loss to the illini probably took us out of 60 or so of those brackets.

    I would say this...don't leave a hit TV show because you think you are bigger than it...I remember when all those girls kept leaving Baywatch because they wanted more money and of course the "Hoff" wouldn't pay them more...he basically just said "I can always find another hot blonde with a great body to play the part" and he did. More actors should be like Steve Sanders from 90210...just stay with the show that is working and collect your checks.

    So true... That first game, whatever time it is...she will figure out that everything starts about 4 hours before kickoff. It is the big event of the school year and it happens 7 times.

    It took a lucky shot to beat Illinois at home...the go on the road and lose by 6. This shouldn't be a shock. The Illini are a bad match up for the Skers...Huskers have no size, neither do the Illini.

    Line is no NU +1 Illini pressure D will force about 20+ turnovers...but the Illini struggle to score. Look for the Skers to be down early and take the lead before half. Skers: 70 Illini: 63

    What band would you want to be a member of?  Past or Present.  I am a huge KISS fan but Gene and Paul are so anti-booze so they might not be my top choice.  U2 is so lame and political...I think maybe ZZ-Top...those guys just seem fun and normal.

      It's a very good article on the "link" between mental illness and violent gun crime. It's not a simple solution that can be solved with a simple answer. But something needs to be done to at least prevent such a dramatic loss of life.

      It's definitely not going to be easy to work through gun crime and mental illness, but it's not an excuse to not even try.  The complete lack of budging on any gun control legislation makes things so infuriating.

    Red Road 2 seasons, about 12 episodes total. Pretty okay.
