^Correct, dudeguyy. The FBI has clear protocols for how to proceed with an investigation within the context of an election. He failed to adhere to said protocol.
Still, it is concerning that our president is now charged with appointing the person that will lead an investigation where he is the principle subject. I don't see how the process can move forward uncorrupted.

We had better hope we have lots of whistleblowers tucked away in agencies like the FBI, and we'd better hope they are well-supported. On its face, this appears to be the president transparently attempting to nuke investigations into himself.
