A lot of the "traditional" teams are down (Michigan, Michigan St, Iowa, Ohio St), but the conference as a whole is second in most computer rankings behind the Big 12. Hayseed
If I was a priest in the Temple of March Madness, I’d set up the possibility of Creighton against Nebraska playing in the second round on a neutral court in the West. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
This is the most talented Husker team I’ve seen since the one that won the NIT….better than that one even I think but baffling how they can play so good against Purdue then go stink it up against the #37 team in the Big Ten. 1 Quote Link to comment

First/second round sites are no longer tied to a region. They are set up so high seeded teams don't have to travel no matter what region they are assigned to. It's been this way for at least a decade. 1 2 Quote Link to comment
ECisGod
Huskers look pretty good to make the tournament - just don't lose at Michigan. Huskers are a 9 seed at ESPN in Memphis playing Mississippi State (last updated Friday). They are a 10 seed at CBS Sports playing Boise State in Indianapolis. They are a 10 seed at Bracket Matrix on all 93 brackets, seeded as high as an 8 as low as an 11 (updated yesterday). Bart Torvik projects them as 10 seed with a 77.4% chance to be in the tournament. They are currently 43rd in the NET, 34 at Ken Pom, 37 at Evan Miya, 28 at Bart Torvik, 37 in the BPI & 31 in SOR. They can be seeded anywhere from 3-6 in the B1G tournament. Beat Michigan and it's either 3-4 depending on what Northwestern does this week. 1 Quote Link to comment
Loebarth
Michigan beat Wisconsin at home and this is their senior night. Nebraska will get Michigan's best in this game. Hope they have their big boy pants on. I expect this to be an old school physical game and we all know how the B1G refs protect the home court. Husker 3's will be needed to win this game. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
