Malth
Is there any chance we don't play the winner of the Big East? By not going to the Fiesta Bowl. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Pitt is a strange brew. They have a stud RB in Dion Lewis, a stud WR in Jon Baldwin, and a stud DE in Greg Rome. They have the cornerstones of a decent team and are in a state that regularly turns out great HS talent. Their QB does suck and that has a lot to do with it. But there is something else holding this team up. What could it be? Hmm..........oh yeah I know it is their ambiguous gay asshat duo of coach and AD. The Stache and Pedey. PS Stache I personally blame you and Satan himself(saben) for destroying my Fish Quote Link to comment

Enhance
Doesn't matter if Pitt is a bad team, good team, or great team. IF we even make it to a BCS game and IF it's against Pitt, they need to prepare for them like it's the biggest game of their lives no excuses. It's when a team gets overlooked that they're most dangerous, and we've seen it happen a couple of times already this year. Quote Link to comment
Lil' Red
The Big East is terrible this year. It's kind of sad that Boise could get left out of a BCS game while a Big East team automatically gets in. BCS= Quote Link to comment
GBRsal
boise won't play anybody good - they deserve no bowl. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Pitt just lost to UCONN, so at this point we may be playing Bergen Catholic in the Fiesta Bowl... Quote Link to comment
Lil' Red
boise won't play anybody good - they deserve no bowl. You can bash Boise all you want but no way does a Big East school deserve a bowl over them. Nevada could win the Big East. Quote Link to comment
bball_backer
There is a very real chance that Pitt and NU both win out. This will put Pitt at 8-4, meaning I will need HB members to help me come up with a catchy sign. Something along the lines of "Stevie P.: Your team appears to be gravitating toward mediocrity" Quote Link to comment
Marf
I would be A okay with Nebraska making the Fiesta bowl and hanging 70 on Pittsburgh. We could do it. Wouldn't be hard. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
I would be A okay with Nebraska making the Fiesta bowl and hanging 70 on Pittsburgh. We could do it. Wouldn't be hard. If we win out I would NOT want to see a 12-1 Nebraska team end up playing Pittsburgh in their bowl game. This would not make any sense. At all. I don't even see Pitt making it out of their season without losing again. For a 12-1 team this would be a MAJOR let down of a matchup. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
I think the majority of us on the board is hoping that some how the Orange Bowl folks have some sort of brain fart, and decide to take the Big East champ, leaving us with not having to play a substandard Big East opponent. JTrain
Over-Under on number of identical threads before bowl selection (currently at three)? Quote Link to comment
SoCalhusker88
at least 92 more of these threads are going to come Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
Boy I'm glad we have such a great system that gets the best teams to play. The BCS should be ashamed that a team like this can get in. To be fair I'm sure that in the past bowl tie in's have caused other bad matcg-ups. Quote Link to comment
