Apathy
My cousin and I laughed everytime a penalty was called because the student section would pull out their yellow laundry and wave it in the air. Quote Link to comment
husker_hurdler
The first time it happened, was awesome. I would guess that 25-30% of the student section was waving flags. Quote Link to comment
husker fat boy
It was funny! Wonder what the Stripes thought about it? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I was surprised so many of the students went along with this. Quote Link to comment
mmmtodd
oh...the horror of such a classless act. how dare they. Quote Link to comment

teachercd
The Husker fans that thought it was classless need to get over it. It was funny. Quote Link to comment
The Snork
Oh how did the best fans in football reach this low low state? LOLZ! Quote Link to comment
NUance
Yeah, it was pretty funny. Everybody in the whole nation knows we got jobbed last week. So they understand. Quote Link to comment
Redmusky
ABC had the yellow wave on about 4 or 5 five times it was priceless. Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
The way the fans were waiving the flags weren't they saying "disregard the flag" ? Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
I was against this when I first read about it, I thought it was more stupid than I did classless. After seeing it on tv yesterday, it was funny and I can admit I was wrong about it. I wouldn't want to see the whole crowd do it but it was a clever way for the student section to protest the officating. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
Ill take the blame for about 150 of the flags. I thought it was all in good nature. Im the one with the ridiculously large one on the left. Heres a pic of a small portion of the supplies. The other side of the stocking says Dan Beebe. I thought it was fitting. 4 Quote Link to comment
SkerMin8r
My daughter took me to the game yesterday. Was the first time I'd been in the student section for a game in 20 years. She had informed me of the "yellow flag" protest and so I cut up and old yellow t-shirt I had and brought it along. We handed out several pieces and had a ball waving it for every flag...our or theirs. it was fun and, I think, relatively harmless. Kinda like when you "read the newspaper" while the other team is introduced at a bball game. Quote Link to comment
bball_backer
I was surprised how well this worked. I went with some students, so I decided to grab flags for all of us and enough to pass around to people around us. I was a little worried no one else would be doing it, but it wasn't long before we saw several people passing them down the rows... needless to say it was a blast and not at all class-less.
