So with a supposed 2.4 GPA he needs like a 71 or 72 composite on the ACT. Scoring a 17 is like having a composite of 67-69. If that GPA doesn't skyrocket this spring he needs to raise his composite by like 2-3 points. More or less if he opts to take the test again a 19 maybe even an 18 would set him up. All pending on his GPA doesn't drop

Thats not as bad as what i thought, you would think he would be able to retake and get a point or 2 higher, maybe even raise his gpa a few points this spring. Atleast were not dealing with classes that may or may not count.

He should be at 2.6 after this last semester and he's got two easy core classes this semester that should help. His coach is pretty confident he'll be fine and it doesn't sound like he's much of a BS'er when it comes to this stuff. As a side note it sounds like USC made a push for him late and he told them no.

*cough* it took Braylon how many times to get that point or two??*cough*

As was mentioned in Heard's thread not all kids can handle tests. As da skers said hopefully this semesters class load helps his GPA some.

If his gpa is truly at 2.6 and doesn't drop, a 17 on the ACT (67-69 composite) means he's eligible. See the sliding scale: http://www.ubathletics.buffalo.edu/compliance/slidingscale.pdf.
