Army Husker
I'm kinda baffled...that was a weird game. Guess Taylor...hung in there, made good passes and minimized his usual mistakes. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
David and Maher. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Offense: Taylor Martinez Defense: Lavonte David Special Teams: Brett Maher In the mess that happened in the fourth quarter, Maher's 61-yard punt put the ball on the PSU side of the field for the duration of the game. Saved our butts at the end. Quote Link to comment
bshirt
Well, with all drops (par), Tmart sucked. Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
Taylor Martinez. Guy played well today, threw the ball exceptionally well and left my impressed. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
Probably David and Dennard has a pretty good game too. Pretty bad second half though. Quote Link to comment

Hammerhead
Martinez played a great game, but I have to give the game ball to Lavonte when push comes to shove. That 4th down stop was huge. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Give the ball to the whole team including coaches. This game was laden with tough circumstances and they found a way to leave Happy Valley with W. Besides that, no player really stood out. Taylor made more good throws than a typical outing but nothing spectacular. 1 Quote Link to comment

Wish we had those guys on our team. Quote Link to comment

mnhusker
I lean to Martinez but the 126 Burkhead yards are impressive. Quote Link to comment

SnowBigRed
This game was a win....and nothing else. The Oline was less than mediocre, the entire defense looked soft and very unphysical, db's still have no clue how to make plays on the ball in the air, receivers had too many drops. I'd say the game ball would have to go to Martinez or Burkhead on O, and David on D. The rest of the team looked very meh today. However, a win is a win, and NU is now 8-2, with a very solid 10-2 season obtainable, so I'm happy. I'm sure glad we didn't play Okie State today.....good gravy. 1 Quote Link to comment
