Well lets put things in perspective. Things could be worse right now. At least the Huskers aren't the Jayhawks right now. That's a frickn crime going on down there.

I am growing very tired of watching this trash. We are so talented, and yet even more undisciplined, unfocused, and just mentally useless. I don't know if it's lack of preparation or just dumb kids, but cosidering we've been penalized heavily the last few years, with different kids, I have to think it comes from the coaches. TM hasn't progressed at all from last year, he's still basically Forrest Gump running an offense. The defense is fast but can't tackle, and the special teams.......as I type that we botch yet another special teams play. I'm not calling for anybody's head, but I start to wonder if Bo shouldn't just be a DCoord and maybe somebody with a clue how to teach attention to detail (particularly offensively) should be the HC.

 

PS - Thorell is a nice kid I'm sure, but there is no way he should ever, ever, ever be on the field at this level.

 

I agree. Been a Husker Fan since late 70's and just sick of this crap. Coaching is horrible, this hurry up offense just kills everything, TOP is so one-sided, no offensive identity, defense on the field the whole game, etc., etc. Next year will be even worse with the guys we r losing...

Yep. It's not the losing or getting dominated it's the way it happens. Sloppy and undisciplined. Same mistakes. Why is it some coaches have teams that are ALWAYS low on penalties year in and out? I want a team that plays smart and focused. Not a big play here and there and gimmick crap. Play smart, play hard and you won't hear me complaining.

Any talk of a MNC is a joke. It's one step at a time and we need to be able to win a divsion and conference title first. Bo has shown that he can win a crappy Big 12 North and come close to a conference, but that is it.
