flatwaterfan
Sure sounds like it will be Biggs and a post player are the targets for this signing period. Then the coaches will probably try and get a transfer or two over the summer. The 2012 fall signing will be huge for this staff to get off on the right foot. Quote Link to comment
Comish
Although Smiles downplayed it originally (which he had to do).........I wonder if there may be a player or two that eventually follows him from Colorado St. to Lincoln, now that they know who their coach will be...? Quote Link to comment

ADS
Am now hearing that there may be quite a few potential basketball recruits in town tomorrow for the Spring game................. There is a rumor that Jabari Parker the #1 recruit for next years class will be in town. Chin Coleman coached him at Simeon Academy in Chicago. It's just a rumor right now, but if he is in town that is big time stuff. Quote Link to comment

mrandyk
That would be pretty surprising if we could get the number one prospect to even visit us. That guy just won national high school player of the year, as a junior. Only three people had ever done that before. Quote Link to comment

This year's #1 ranked guy Noel was supposed to be in next year's class and was ranked behind Parker. Jabari is one of those once every 5 year guys, just immensely talented. Quote Link to comment

Nexus
Nebraska is expecting four other recruits this weekend, all from the Chicago area, on unofficial visits – three for the 2013 class, and one for 2014. It’s a solid list. The 2014 recruit is Paul White, who has offers from nearly every Big Ten school, in addition to Arizona, Florida State, Marquette, Baylor and Iowa State, among others. White is a 6-8, 185-pound forward from Whitney Young High School. The 2013 recruits are Sterling Brown, Kyle Davis and Russell Woods, all of whom play on the Mac Irvin Fire AAU team. Ron Coleman, a member of new coach Tim Miles’ staff, previously coached with the Mac Irvin Fire before joining Miles’ Colorado State staff next season. Continue Reading Quote Link to comment
