HuskerFanChuck
I knew I had seen it somewhere today. Rosenthal states in the article talking about Diaz and Fox not returning and detailing the number of scholarship players left that the spring signing period is April 11 through May 16. http://huskerextra.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/article_414f2bfb-9213-5d5c-873b-7f6094ed8268.html Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
So is there a national signing day in bball? Or a deadline to sign recruits by in order to be eligible for next season? There is an early signing period for a week in November and then the regular signing period which is the April 11th thru May 16th Quote Link to comment
darkhorse85
My head isn't working today. Biggs still has three years of eligibility, correct? It'd be nice to get a Central guy on the roster. Hopefully he could chat up those guys for the next few years. Quote Link to comment

Nexus
Former Omaha Central all-state guard Deverell Biggs said Thursday night that of the two college basketball scholarship offers he is considering, Nebraska leads Oklahoma State. "I really want to take my visit to Nebraska," said Biggs, who played this season at Seward County (Kan.) Community College. "I'd like to come home and play. It would be a dream for an Omaha guy to come back and play in front of the people he knows." That isn't Biggs' only dream. He would like to team up again in college with Omaha Central all-state center Akoy Agau, who just finished his junior season and has drawn national recruiting interest. "Me and Akoy are very close," Biggs said. "He wants to play with me again, and I want to play with him again. We're talking about that now." Continue Reading Quote Link to comment
redout22
That would be huge if we could snag Akoy along with Biggs. Deadly combo Quote Link to comment
HUSKER FREAK
I would think the timing would be right for those two to buy in to Miles, and believe in changing this place. Quote Link to comment
bball_backer
Akoy has said if UCONN offered him they'd be hard for anyone to beat, which I took as 'Nebraska has no shot.' However, if they are really as close as Biggs makes it sound, I'm changing my mind a bit. If Miles can make it happen, it won't matter that they only win 5 games next year, people will be jacked. Minnesota_husker
GREAT THREAD! I have always wanted to be able to follow basketball recruiting more closely. I love what Coach Miles is doing... He is making a statement and getting some talent in the door. I know the next 2 years will be rough... but i honestly think we will be in the dance in 2015! Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
Sweet. 1) It would be awesome to get 2 scholarship Nebraska players that can help right away. Purely awesome. Biggs will be a great start. 2) I love it that Coach Miles has his plan and can tell players exactly how they fit with that plan. Quote Link to comment
