epocSoN
SIAP - Wisconsin QB Joel Stave is out for the year with a broken collarbone. Never like to see this happen, but with Wisconsin all but guaranteed a trip to Indy, this gives us absolutely no excuses to miss out on the B1G title if we get there. Quote Link to comment

4skers89
This could be a big deal if we meet up with Wiscy later in the year. I'd rather O'Brien running play action than Stave. Tough break for Stave. He was playing well. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I thought it looked pretty serious when he was wincing on the sideline. Broken collarbone definitely crossed my mind. Sucks for him. Quote Link to comment
rationalfan
O'brien is stil an experienced QB. I do not think they will drop off a ton. There O'line has been their biggest issue this year anyways. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Do you guys want to face Wisconsin with Obrien, or would you rather face Purdue? Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Do you guys want to face Wisconsin with Obrien, or would you rather face Purdue? Purdue is pretty much out of the equation now. But I have heard a couple of commentator types mention Indiana having an outside shot IF they beat Wisconsin Quote Link to comment
Converted Red
Do you guys want to face Wisconsin with Obrien, or would you rather face Purdue? Anybody but Ohio State or Penn State! Oh, wait... Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
I want it to be Purdue or Indiana, just to get a different team. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
The only two teams alive in the Leaders division are Wisconsin and Indiana. Their game this weekend is the de facto Leaders division championship, at least as far as Wisconsin is concerned. If the Badgers win, they're going to Indy. If Indiana wins, they'll be tied atop the Leaders (at least, atop the list of teams that are eligible to win the Leaders), but they still have to go to Penn State and to Purdue. Wisconsin, even if they lose to Indiana this Saturday, could still win the division, but they must then play Ohio State and at Penn State to finish the year. Personally, I want Wisconsin to win out, but play two hard, physical games right before the championship game. Wear them out before we play them in Indianapolis and we should be able to put them away in the first half. Unchain Eric Martin, tell him to go blast O'Brien, and make them try to beat us on the ground with Montee Ball. They're not going to grind out a win against us that way, not if our offense can get a score or two early. Quote Link to comment
Excel
I'm not convinced, that even if we beat Indiana, that we'll go to the B1G CG. I haven't been following CFB nearly as close as I should but what if UW wins this weekend and drops the OSU and PSU games then Indiana wouldn't be dead right? We very easily could drop the last two. If they win, and you both lose your next two games, indiana has the tie breaker. if indiana beats purdue and you beat penn state, there is a tie again and indiana goes, if you both win both, there is a tie and indiana goes. you would have to win both. you'd need indiana to lose both, and you beat PSU. mrandyk
I really, really doubt Indiana wins this weekend. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
They were saying on College Football Live today that the QB that isn't O'Brien will be starting. Redshirt Senior or something, don't know his name. But O'Brien will get some time too. Quote Link to comment
The King
I really, really doubt Indiana wins this weekend. Indiana could easily be a 1 loss team right now. Barely lost to Mich St - Ohio State. Quote Link to comment
