Obama Cries As He Thanks Support Staff

Recommended Posts

See people...............he is a human and he does care...............I voted for him as well Landlord and I refuse to be sorry about it. Mitt didn't prove enough to me for me to change my vote from 4 years ago, it's my vote and it went to President Obama. Lead us out of the wreckage Mr. President................the next 4 years are going to more difficult than the first 4.

I can not believe someone picked a presidential candidate because he cries?...really?

The video was made a day after the election. Landlord is saying that, all along, he felt Obama was more human than Romney. The video is just confirmation.

And before we start getting into what people do or don't believe about these candidates, you should check out the avalanche of falsehoods spewed from your candidate and the media that supported him - many of those falsehoods you yourself supported and promoted here in this forum.

If anyone should be disbelieving the candidate they voted for, it's not those who voted for Obama. I'll be posting some things in a week or so, when the emotions from this election have calmed down, about the general state of this country. It's not a pretty picture, but I think several regulars here will be very shocked - most likely disbelieving, even though I'll provide proof and links - about what they thought, and were told.

I think Romney is plenty human. He's a very caring individual. I don't even understand why that "human" component is an important consideration in the POTUS office. He could be a mean-looking hardass if he gets the job done. It was rather hard to take the Romney campaign seriously when their criticisms and proposals seemed so disingenuous, though.

I'll allow that my opinions there may be colored a little.

Personally, I think getting out of election mode has done wonders for Obama. I'm not exagerrating at all when I say this talk and his victory speech are the only 2 times I have been able to tolerate listening to him speak. And, not only tolerate but, I actually enjoyed listening to him. Honestly, these are the first two times it has ever dawned on me that he is like us and not just some power hungry politicians with socialist aspirations. I actually like this Obama. Hope he can keep this up for four years but, even if his demeanor backslides, I will still have a much different and improved insight on the man. It is strange but I no longer have the feeling he is intentionally trying to take us in a wrong direction. For those of you who have interacted with me on these boards, you should understand how huge that is for my outlook.

Yeah, don't you get the impression that election season is just a lot of (mostly fabricated) character assassination on either guy? I was extremely impressed with Romney as well in his concession speech. I am glad that Obama was re-elected, but I get the sense afterwards that we had the choice of two fairly competent guys (in different ways) and while I do believe the right one won, it is time to let go some of those spun-up fears about the other one.
