Husker no ka oi
So much for ND in the rose bowl. Quote Link to comment
TheRedCarver
Here comes Oregon to the Rose Bowl. This sucks... Actually, if Stanford wins their next game, we would probably play them in the Rose Bowl. Quote Link to comment
Husker no ka oi
Oregon can't even play in the rose bowl? There headed to the fiesta prolly Quote Link to comment
whateveritis1224
Positive is that now Stanford controls their own destiny. If they win against UCLA next week, they go to the Pac 12 championship and if we win the B1G we don't have to worry about Oregon. I definitely like our chances against Stanford or UCLA over Oregon. Still don't think there was enough evidence on the 2nd Stanford TD to overturn the decision on the field. Quote Link to comment
ohiocornhusker
Lets hope for ND to lose next week and Oregon to win out and get to #2. Quote Link to comment
Big Red Machine
We've got to secure a championship slot first. Then, we must win that championship game against Wisconsin. I'll worry about our bowl game opponent when that time comes. First, we must pound the Hawkeyes in Iowa City! 1 Quote Link to comment

ohiocornhusker
Don't know why but I thought Stanford and Oregon were in different divisions..... Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Here comes Oregon to the Rose Bowl. This sucks... Actually, if Stanford wins their next game, we would probably play them in the Rose Bowl. Yup was just about to post that Stanford plays @ UCLA next week. If Stanford wins, they would turn around and host UCLA the following week in the Pac 12 Championship game. Obviously the winner would go to the Rose Bowl. If UCLA beats Stanford and Oregon beats Oregon St., Oregon would be back in the CCG and have a chance at the Rose Bowl or possibly the National Championship game if USC beats ND. Flood
We gotta beat Iowa and Wisconsin before I am worried about the Rose Bowl. Big shakeups at the top of the rankings today. My only hope is that we are in the top 5 and have to worry about such things next year. It has been awhile since we've experienced that angst, and I miss it. Notre Dame is back. Now, we should be, too, if we finish this year. It would be nice to start next year in the Top 5. Memories of the 90's. And we have the playmakers to sustain it, if everything works well on offense and defense. My only concern is that, prior to Minnesota, we did not show up on BOTH sides of the ball in the same game. Here's hoping for a strong finish this year and a great start next year. GBR!! Quote Link to comment
mrandyk
#1 and 2 fall, #3 Notre Dame has a tough game at USC coming, and the teams currently ranked 4-9 are all in the SEC (which is f'ing retarded)...don't tell me that we are going to see SEC v. SEC again. Quote Link to comment
Marf
Am I the only one not that worried about Oregon? Sure, they would score 80 points on us... As Rex Burkhead rushes for 1800 yards and 12 touchdowns. Their defense is a sieve. Terrible push up front as well. Burkhead/Abdullah would score as much as they want. I have more faith in Bo scheming against Chip then Alliotti scheming against Beck. They don't have the horses on D to run with us, if we play in the secondary like we have been recently, we can win. whateveritis1224
As long as it's not SEC vs SEC again, I don't really give a crap. I think USC is on a downward spiral right now, and there's a possibility that Barkley won't play. One thing that Notre Dame has had throughout the year is a pretty good defense. At this point I don't care if Notre Dame gets into the championship as long as we don't have a repeat of last year. Quote Link to comment
