What did we learn

Recommended Posts

1. No hangover from B1G championship game

2. Ran the ball well, had the D line suckin' wind

3. D got beat a few times by over pursuing

4. T-Mart being Jekyll and Hyde once again

5. Rex Burkhed, showing the "NFL prospect" laden Georgia D, that he can play

6. A. Murray might be the best QB in D1

7. We hung with a team that everyone thought was going to blow us out

Nothing we didn't know already.

A season of failure has come to a close. Turnovers, penalties, embarrassing O-line play, shaky QB play, miserable special teams, no defense to speak of, and an unshakable tendency to meltdown on the big stage when it matters most.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 2012 Nebraska Cornhuskers.

  • Rex will play in the NFL.
  • The NU offense is good. Played well (except for turnovers) against one of the toughest Ds in CFB.
  • Bo Pelini is not a defensive genius. Every year he has had games where the D collapsed, even his National Championship year at LSU. When he doesn't have superior athletes he resembles Cosgrove.
  • NU does not practice special teams.
  • TM learned how to learn forward and go down below the defensive player to avoid taking a hit and risking a fumble.
