LumberJackSker
lol, go back to the ESPN boards. You dont know sh#t 114th rated DT in the country and not a single scholly from any BCS schools, this is getting pretty sad. So, are you one to claim mighty Callahan was a great recruiter. wasnt Callahan actually a good recruiter? Link to comment

You dont know sh#t 114th rated DT in the country and not a single scholly from any BCS schools, this is getting pretty sad. 2013 Draft will be top 5 pick if not #1 had crap for offers http://rivals.yahoo....Lotulelei-55040 2012 Draft #11 pick In Tennesees back yard http://rivals.yahoo....ntari-Poe-58883 So just in the last 2 years, a DT from a small school with no offers will be the first DT taken in the draft. DT is the hardest postion to scout/ judge talent. But really, for every guy who has crap for offers and becomes a first round draft pick, there's a thousand guys who don't pan out like that - or maybe tens of thousands. Yes, this guy may be that kind of guy, but the probability isn't exactly high. That being said, based off the film, I wouldn't complain too much if we tried him out as a center/guard, as opposed to DT. Link to comment

Brouhaha
Nate Clouse just tweeted Kevin Maurice just committed. Late to the party my friend. That's what we're debating on whether hes a reach. Link to comment
Haspula
Still need Collins and Bradley! 1 Link to comment
nebraskafaninwi
Bring him in and see what he can achieve over the next few years. Now to get the JUCO DT if possible and another one or two DL guys. Get that RB, WR, TE, and some other strong recruits and we can get a strong class put together in the final stretch. Link to comment
nebraskafaninwi
Collins added several Nebraska people on Facebook. I have a feeling he is N too! Link to comment
LumberJackSker
so are we taking one more high school DT and a juco? Link to comment

I understand that, but i was just talking the first overall DTs taken the last few years have been from small schools. Star was rated the #103 DT, it happens all the time. There are all sorts of guys that come from small schools all throughout the draft, especially lineman. Lineman are always hard to project. I always like listening to the intro to NFL games, seems more often then not Oline guys are from smaller schools. Alabama has the number 64 Pro style QB committed and the number 50 ILB. Alabama can have anyone they want but yet they still take 3 3 stars, including a 3 star OG. Its easy for these recruiting anaylists to rate the top 100 150 players, past that its a crap shoot. Anyone with one good eye can tell that Clowney or Vanderdoes is going to be a stud Link to comment
nebraskafaninwi
so are we taking one more high school DT and a juco? From my understanding they want to get a "body ready" DT and two high school DTs to start building the depth behind the class they brought in for the 2012 group. Still need to get Collins and don't give up on trying to flip that DT out of WA that is an athletically gifted player. The 2014 class needs to continue building depth and athleticism/speed. nebraskafaninwi
Guys, can you have the stars and ranking discussions some other place? We all know recruiting is not an exact science. We all know the Seahwaks QB was a 2-star, JJ Watt was rejected by WI out of high school, Johnny Manziel was a 2-star (or 3) and just won the Heisman. Link to comment
TYMYSHOE
The easiest way to find highlights is to type in the recruit name in Google with hudl after it. Then click on the links and find the correct recruit. video after watching the video posted before i feel a lot better about him. plus, he's kinda cute 1 Link to comment
