QMany
and since 2008 we could have easily had 10 more loses Could have had ten more wins, too. That glass is just the wrong size for that amount of water Thanks for that insight, wifi. Quote Link to comment

I see a glass that's twice as big as it needs to be.” Quote Link to comment

kchusker_chris
where do we rank in win percentage over the last 5 years? Quote Link to comment
Landlord
since 2008, we should easily have 4-6 more wins. this is disappointing. Wrong. We should have exactly as many wins as we have. We could have had more or less. But we don't. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
What does this really show us though? We all agree that we are an above average squad. See post above (post #4)......showing we are near the top, but the elite of the top have separated themselves from the rest. Those are the teams we need to surpass to get back to the very top. Count 'Bility
where do we rank in win percentage over the last 5 years? Probably pretty similar to the ranks shown in the OP. All these teams are getting 13-14 games per year so the win %'s arent going to vary much. Maybe give or take a spot. Quote Link to comment

Count 'Bility
We have as many wins as we have. We should have 10 more wins than we have. We could have 10 more losses than we have. An asteroid could crash to earth any day now. Quote Link to comment

Was just more efficiently interpretting what Landlord was trying to say, and also that an asteroid really could crash to earth any day. That is fact. Quote Link to comment
nebraskafaninwi
They could have completed that pass. They could have got the ball across the end zone. They could have intercepted that pas. Could, could, could...blah...blah....blah. Wins are wins and losses are losses. The record books do not track could haves. Out of our 800+ wins, how many of them could have been a loss? Out of the losses in our program's history, how many could have been wins? See how that "could have" doesn't work when evaluating historic information? If you want to debate the ways any random game could have, that is an entire different discussion. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
All them wins and no trophies, ouch. Husker fans are ornery cause they got all them wins and no trophies. 2 Quote Link to comment
