tschu
If there is a single sentence that sums up the Auburn football program, and really, much of the SEC, it's this one: (Dakota Mosley) says he learned he'd failed a sixth test on the same day he was scheduled to meet with NCAA investigators to discuss a probe into potential recruiting violations. LOL. No words Quote Link to comment

Foppa
I'd laugh if it wasn't just Auburn, but if every school in the SEC was involved and were in it together... Can you imagine the sh*t storm that would occur?? ESPN and Mark May would cover it up...ESPN couldn't survive without its lover. Quote Link to comment

Don't forget May's partner in crime, the vanilla assassin, Kirk Herbstreit Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
This just keeps getting better and better. If their punishment isn't almost as bad as Penn State's, then it's a load of crap. It's essentially the same situation of institutional cover-up. The only difference is that Auburn covered up drug use and paid its players, but PSU covered up a molester. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Conveniently, the daily ESPN talking heads dont seem to think there's anything there. At least not while they are cashing checks from The Mother Ship. Quote Link to comment
QMany
Convenient that NOW there is going to be an ESPN feature on this. Quote Link to comment
strigori
And the centerpiece of the story has plead guilty to first degree armed robbery. Selena Roberts is a hack. There is a reason she went from cover stories on SI to a local paper in Alabama. http://deadspin.com/central-figure-in-selena-robertss-nothingburger-auburn-471264165 Quote Link to comment

If their is corruption in that city, would you want to try the case and risk 21 years? Quote Link to comment
strigori
If our options are a wide spread conspiracy to 'save face' or a dumb kid being involved in a crime where the other people involved have plead as well, which do you think is more likely? Keep in mind the guy admits to being at the location of the crime, that alone gets some culpability. Quote Link to comment

QMany
Auburn University Internal Auditing found that "there is no evidence academic fraud occurred." Even our own Michael Rose thinks that's funny: Michael Rose @MICHAEL_ROSE154m Lol I love internal investigations.... Like they come out and say, "yep we did it" they cracks me up Quote Link to comment
beanman
Instead of investigating, they probably just made sure it was covered up well enough that they'd never get caught. Quote Link to comment
