DT Josh Frazier [Alabama Commit]

Recommended Posts

Looks like he could use work on his technique. His entire highlight film is just standing up, holding up his blocker, and grabbing the ball carrier when he runs by. Every once in a while he will bull rush and get through. He will take some work to be effective in college when he is going against guys who are just as big as him.

He is Ark all the way...GBR!!!

I don't think so. He's really slow-playing Arkansas. They already have a commitment from one outstanding DT who has been acting as a recruiter. The Hogs have really tried to nail this kid down (they want to keep all highly rated in-state kids, of course) but Frazier hasn't shown any particular interest in Arkansas over anyone else. And he's not an Arkansas native; he's played high school ball in Arkansas, but he isn't from Arkansas - moved in from another state.

Might not be until December.

Great, and we're supposed to have a real bad winter.

Arkansas winters are fairly similar to Nebraska winters.

Wha?

As in the winter occurs during the same months in both states.

Well,yeah.

Not looking good. From today's Arkansas Democrat Gazette:

Frazier said he has plans to take official visits to Nebraska, Southern Cal, Alabama and Auburn.

The Cornhuskers will get an official visit even though they are not in his top five.

“I love Arkansas, they’re in my top five,” said Frazier, who reports a 415-pound bench press. “Nebraska has been recruiting me and has been talking to me and I just want to give them a chance. I’ll go up there and see if I’m impressed, and if I’m not I’ll cut them off. If I do, then I’ll have a top six I guess.”
