VectorVictor
Just a consolation, but that Smith kid from Wyoming is good, I know that doesn't make you guys feel better, but he is a baller, it takes a team to stop a dude like that. Problem is, we didn't. Wyoming stopped themselves. Quote Link to comment
Ric Flair
We've needed to "tighten up" for about three full seasons now. The problem doesn't seem to be figuring out that the defense can't stop anyone. The problem is that the coaching staff simply can't figure out why or what to do to fix it. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan55
This is a bad football team (NE), I have been a supporter of Bo but I am done he will be gone this year we will be lucky to win 6 games this year! 1 Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
I will say I thought Valentine did a pretty good job tonight. Dude got held and double teamed all f****** night. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Thats what happens when you're young. We have to grow up a lot in two weeks to be ready for UCLA. No. This is not about being young. This comes down to coaching, technique and defensive playcalling. Can certainly agree that there is a lot of growing up to do though. Hope it happens...if not, we're going to be getting throttled by UCLA, Northwestern, Michigan State and Michigan. If tonight was an indication of the season, Pelini might be gone at the end. 9 wins is great, BUT the blow outs and inability to stop teams is compelete BS Quote Link to comment

Even if we went 6-6, I doubt he would lose his job. JP on the other hand...he should be worried. He's been the DC of some really sh**ty defenses. Quote Link to comment
tschu
We just gave up 602 yards of offense to WYOMING. This is bad. This is not good, this is bad. This is really bad. 1 Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
UCLA's gonna put up 1,000 yards of offense on us if we play like that. UCLA is beating Nevada 17-13 at halftime...if Nevada can hang, we should be able to as well. Transitive properties never work and sadly, Nevada may have a better defense than us. Wyoming basically ran UCLA's offense tonight. That running back motion out into the flats...where did we see a lot of that last year? UCLA. They're going to have their way with us if we don't get things shored up. Quote Link to comment

Lots of teams have stopped him, though. He had a career night at our house. Maybe this kid just turned the lights fully on tonight. Maybe he's going to have a stellar career from here on out. Nothing we've seen from him the last two years said he could do this, not at home, on the road, or against even the worst teams he's faced. To this point in his career he's never thrown for remotely this many yards against a Big Six school. Amazing. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Thats what happens when you're young. We have to grow up a lot in two weeks to be ready for UCLA. It happened several times last year with a senior heavy defense. Quote Link to comment
mwj98
Positives. Offense is good. Martinez is hurt. 34 is money. Defense. D- Quote Link to comment
