Guy Chamberlin
I don't think Turner is telling the truth. I'm sure they thought they would win, maybe even win big, but I don't think they expected Wyoming to lay down. That's what you say when you're embarrassed and want people to think you have the power to turn it on and off, and merely failed to turn all your awesomeness on. Of course he forgot that's not really what fans want to hear. Also, given the reasonably successful Husker offense, one begins to wonder what the offense is really thinking/saying about their defensive teammates. Quote Link to comment

It would be great if they pointed the thumb and figured out how to maintain possession of the football Quote Link to comment

The offense in the fourth quarter, when they should've been grinding Wyoming into oblivion, couldn't sustain a drive and turned it over twice, directly contributing to a game that was 14 points closer than it needed to be. That sure doesn't excuse the yardage our defense gave up but there is no room to talk for the offense either. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Not really from Twitter, but we don't need another thread about this stuff. From UNL's Facebook page, some photos from the game. 1 Quote Link to comment

Those are really really really cool pics. Especially the one of Turner's catch. I'm assuming that was taken with a really really really expensive camera. Quote Link to comment

Chaddyboxer
It was amazing IMO. Jack and his family were a few rows down and a section over to our right. My mom is to my left, sis to my right, and my fiancé is to the right of my sis in the white hat. I'll try and post pics here real soon. Quote Link to comment
