knapplc
It's game day, Husker fans. It's been a tumultuous week. A spiral of events grew into a huge conflagration, turning all eyes to Husker Nation - for all the wrong reasons. First, it was a loss to UCLA, featuring 38 unanswered points by the Bruins. Next, Husker legend Tommie Frazier expressed his displeasure at the turn of events in the game. That was followed by a member of the press - Eric Olson of the AP, by all accounts - asking Bo to comment on Frazier's tweets during the Monday presser. Bo responded pretty evenly, but ended his statement by saying that if Tommie didn't like the state of the program and wanted out of the current state of affairs, "...we don't need him." That relatively innocuous statement prompted the King of Asshats to release a two-year-old recording of Pelini venting after one of the most emotional weeks of his tenure at Nebraska, including dropping F-bombs galore at the fans. Husker Nation went nuclear. The college football world watched, enthralled. Amidst all that, four-year starter at QB Taylor Martinez came up gimpy with turf toe, an injury which will keep him out of today's game. Oh yeah... there's a game today. We host the SDSU Jackrabbits, a team that outplayed Nebraska here at Memorial Stadium back in 2011, but lost the game 17-3 based more on circumstances than actual play. The Jackrabbits show up ranked #6 in the FCS, and they're not coming here to get beat. Today could be a wild ride. Enjoy. Quote Link to comment

Dr. Mantis Toboggan
I am so damn excited to see Tommie Armstrong leading the offense today. But remember husker nation, this is his first full game so I really do not see the game getting to the 50 points range although I wouldn't be upset if it did. SDSU 17 Nebraska 35 Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
I like the good guys by 21. But I hope all of our fans watch closely and appreciate the talent that its Zach Zenner. The guy is a stud. Think a bigger, not quite as fast Danny Woodhead 1 Quote Link to comment
